Our location can cater to leisure customers and business customers, availing of the flexible short, medium and long-term business fleet management service offered by Europcar and customers renting a van.
History enthusiasts who visit the area should take some time to go to the Craffaunowen Centre. This centre is dedicated to prehistoric Ireland and the early Christian history of the country. Located on 50 acres of beautiful wooded grounds, patrons can see fascinating recreations of homesteads and artefacts that date back far into the past. One of the top attractions in the centre is Craggaunowen Castle, built in the 16th century on a crag overlooking the lake offering magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.
The Burren is one of Ireland’s top attractions, here you’ll find a karst limestone landscape that stretches for miles. In the spring time it transforms from a barren rocky land to one of true beauty as the area is home to three quarters of Ireland’s floral species. There is a dedicated park on site which offers beautiful walking trails throughout the land as well as a fascinating reserve for Ireland’s birds of prey. There are a beautiful ring of villages that surround the Burren and each offer a different experience, for example Doolin, situated to the west, is a music hub where travelling tourists should stop by for a traditional Irish music session.
The Cliffs of Moher are considered to be one of the best, if not the best, tourist attraction in Ireland. These cliffs are some of the highest in all of Europe rising to a height of 214 meters above the crashing waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The dedicated visitor centre on site offers insights into what once would have been considered the edge of the world. There are also boating excursions available that sail below the cliffs giving you a true impression of the stunning Cliffside.
There’s plenty of activities to keep the most active visitor occupied. Along the coastline and the many waterways, you’ll find a wide range of water-based activities such as surfing, windsurfing, boating, kayaking, fishing, and sub aqua groups. On drier land you can avail of the many horseback trails, walking trails, and abundant golf courses.
