Car Rental in Menorca

Rent a car in Menorca with Europcar

Menorca (meaning ‘smaller island’) has a more chilled vibe than that of big sister Mallorca or Ibiza. There is a big collection of prehistoric monuments, a diverse cultural history, and of course, crystalline waters lapping the golden shores. Add to that some charming seaside towns and lush hills and you will see that Menorca deserves just as much attention as its neighbouring sibling.

Car hire is essential for seeing the most of the island, as well as for runs to and from the beach. Choose Europcar Menorca to experience the best of this stunning Balearic island.

Discover Menorca and surroundings by car

With over 200 kilometres of coastline, Menora hosts some of the most beautiful beaches found in the Mediterranean. Whether rocky coves for snorkelling or pristine white sands there are plenty of options.

Around 8 kilometres from Mahon is S’Albufera d’es Grau Natural Park. Its wetlands and lagoon are home to several unique species of birds, as well as tortoises and lizards. Ideal for birdwatching and hikers, the natural park has easy to follow trails which are ideal for a day in nature.

In Mahon, make sure you check out the Castell San Felipe - a fortress that was built under the British occupation. While it was destroyed by Spanish King Carlos III, the series of underground tunnels have remained pretty much intact for exploring.

Exploration outside of Menorca is possible via car ferries from Ciutadella to Barcelona and Mahon to Mallorca.
