Driving in Brussels
Drivers in Belgium stay on the right hand side of the road and overtake on the left. Please drive carefully if you’re from a county where these rules are reversed.
Traffic can be busy throughout the European Area and near major attractions, so leave plenty of time to get to your required destination. Roads are usually well-maintained and well-signposted.
On-street parking is available but is usually limited to two hours. Alternatively, use one of the many parking lots in the city centre. There are also eight free park and ride locations on the outskirts of the city with locations including Roodebeek and Kraainem.
