From Elmas, you can directly access the main roads, which will take you wherever you want on the island. Olbia, at the other end of the island, is a bit further away (234 kilometers) but worth a visit if you depart from the airport in the north.

Just eight kilometers from Elmas and the airport, Cagliari is a fantastic place to visit. Admire the pink tones of the Cathedral of Santa Maria and the twin towers of the Elephant Tower. Spend a few hours in the National Archaeological Museum, a well-regarded archaeological museum, which tells thousands of years of history. Poetto Beach, seven kilometers from the center of Cagliari, boasts golden sand and turquoise waters and is a perfect destination for a nice day out with the family.
