What happens if I do not arrive to collect the car?
We understand travel plans can change. To avoid significant fees, we strongly recommend cancelling your reservation if you cannot make the scheduled pick-up time.
1. Avoiding Fees (The Cancellation Window)

How to Cancel:
- Direct Booking: Cancel online via the Europcar website or through our Reservation Centre.
- Third-Party Booking: You must cancel through your original travel provider (e.g., travel agent, online booking platform).
2. No-Show Consequences
A No-Show occurs if you miss your scheduled pick-up time and have not formally cancelled the reservation. In this case, a No-Show Fee will apply.

Prepaid Booking | The No-Show Fee will be deducted from your prepaid amount. | |
Pay on Arrival | The No-Show Fee will be charged to the payment method provided at the time of booking. | |
No Payment Details | You may still be held liable for the fee and subsequent collection action. |
Important: Fees will be charged in the local currency or your card’s billing currency, using the exchange rate and terms in effect at the time of the transaction.
3. Non-Refundable/Restricted Offers
If you booked a special package (e.g., "Light Package") explicitly marked as non-refundable or non-changeable:
- Cancellations or changes are not allowed.
- No refunds will be issued in the event of a cancellation or a No-Show.
