When collecting your rental vehicle, it's important to take a few moments to ensure everything is in order. Here’s a quick checklist to help you get started:

1. Inspect the Vehicle’s Condition

• Carefully check both the exterior and interior of the vehicle, including any accessories, for pre-existing damage such as scratches, dents, or other marks.
• Make sure any damage is accurately listed on the Rental Agreement. If you notice any damage not already recorded, ask a staff member to add it to the agreement and ensure both of you sign the update.
• If you're unable to report unlisted damage at the time of pick-up (e.g., picking up at night or outside opening hours), you have 24 hours to report it.

2. Fuel Check

• Verify that the fuel level matches the amount indicated in your rental agreement.

3. Mileage Check

• If your rental has limited mileage, make sure the mileage limit and current reading are noted.

4. Familiarise Yourself with the Vehicle

• Before driving off, take a moment to check:
• The fuel type required for the vehicle
• Essential controls such as headlights, indicators, parking brake, and hazard lights
