Do you allow pets?
Europcar does not allow any animals to be transported in our vehicles, with the sole exception of Assistance Dogs.
1. Policy on Assistance Dogs

Allowed Animals | Only officially recognised Assistance Dogs are permitted in the rental vehicle. | |
Restraint | We do not supply dog guards or any form of animal restraint. You are fully responsible for ensuring the Assistance Dog is suitably restrained at all times to ensure its safety and prevent distraction to the driver. | |
Liability | We do not accept liability for any damage to the vehicle or injury to passengers resulting from a failure to keep the Assistance Dog appropriately restrained and controlled. |
2. Required Vehicle Condition on Return
You are responsible for returning the vehicle in the same condition as it was at pick-up (fair wear and tear excepted).
- Cleaning Charges: If the vehicle is returned in a dirty or messy condition (e.g., excessive pet hair, stains) requiring specialist cleaning or valet service before it can be rented again, you will be liable for the special cleaning charge (as described in our Tariff Guide).
- Damage: You will also be liable for any Light Damage or Serious Damage (e.g., scratches, chewing) caused by the animal.
