Additional driver
Having an additional driver (or drivers) for your van hire can massively ease the pressure, making your house move or long drive a lot more enjoyable. Also, for long journeys transporting heavy or bulky items, you may not need to stop for as many breaks meaning you can reach your destination safely and in good time.
Van hire protection
For total peace of mind, Europcar offers a range of protection packages that will reduce your excess, depending on your needs. Choose from:
Basic Protection – This protection is included in your hire rate and will protect you against theft or attempted theft of the vehicle and damage caused by collision.
Medium Protection – On top of protection against theft and damage caused by collision, this will cover you for windscreen, mirror, headlight and tyre damage.
Premium Protection – This is the highest level of protection we offer and can only be booked for drivers over the age of 26 years old. It includes all the above benefits plus the option to reduce your excess to zero.
Van hire fuel options
Finding a fuel station to fill up after a long trip in a van can be a hassle, so Europcar gives you the option to pre-purchase a full tank of fuel at a reduced rate per litre, meaning you can return it without re-filling at the end of your hire. Paying for your fuel up front with our Full Tank Option gives you more minutes of precious road time. You can take out this option when making your booking online, or you can ask for more information in your chosen branch. Make sure to check the terms and conditions before booking.
