In the UK
Winter tyres and snow chains are not typically available in the UK, as they're generally not required due to the country's milder winter conditions.
In Other Countries
In countries where winter weather is more severe, winter tyres and snow chains may be legally required or strongly recommended.
- Available where necessary: Winter equipment can be booked in regions where laws or weather conditions make them essential.
- Location-specific: Availability depends on the country, branch location, and vehicle category.
How to Book Winter Equipment
- Online booking: If winter equipment isn't already listed in the vehicle description, you can easily add it on the “Options” page during your online reservation.
- Phone booking: Booking by phone? Just ask our reservation team about adding winter equipment.
- Limited availability: In some countries, equipment is only confirmed once the local branch approves it. If this applies to your booking, please watch for a confirmation email before assuming the equipment is guaranteed.

Safety & Responsibility
- For your safety, please do not install winter tyres or snow chains yourself.
