Discover Bondy and surroundings by car

With a hire car from Europcar Bondy, you’ll be well-placed to tour this interesting suburb and enjoy some of France’s most delightful attractions.

There’s plenty to do in the local area, so whether you take a twenty minute journey to the world-famous Science and Industry Museum (the biggest in Europe) located in Parc de la Villette, or drive 45 minutes west to Disneyland Paris, you won’t be short of activities to cross off your itinerary.

Of course, you’re sure to also want to explore Paris’s vibrant city centre where you’ll find everything from the impressive Eiffel Tower which is illuminated by night, to The Louvre, Arc de Triomphe, Notre-Dame de Paris, Le Jardin du Luxembourg, the Champs-Élysées avenue and more.

Should you wish to take a break from city life, Paris is also surrounded by rolling hills and sweeping countryside. Indeed, the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse Regional Natural Park is just less than an hour’s drive south-west of Paris.

Driving in Bondy

When driving in France, you must stay on the right hand side of the road and overtake on the left. All major roads and attractions are well-signposted, but if you head off-the-beaten-track it’s a good idea to use satellite navigation or a map – just in case you take a wrong turning.

While parking in Bondy is relatively easy as there are plenty of garages dotted around the suburb, you’ll find the traffic to be heavier towards the centre of Paris. On-street parking is limited, so it’s probably best to head to one of the underground parking lots available. These are usually open 24 hours a day, seven days a week with parking being typically more expensive in the city centre.
