How Nectar works:
1. Search for your desired pick-up Europcar branch in the UK in the booking form above. Remember the bonus point promotion is only available from this page.
2. Once you’ve selected your vehicle and extras, choose 'Nectar' in the 'Partner Loyalty Program' list as shown on the image below, during the 'Review and Pay' step. Then enter your full 19 digit Nectar card number.*

3. Enjoy your points! They will be added to your Nectar account within 8 weeks after your rental is complete

Terms & Conditions

    1. 1. Nectar members can earn 3x Nectar points (“Bonus Points Offer”) and save up to 30% (“Discount Offer”), when renting a car for 1 - 20 days duration from a Europcar location in the UK during the period 06 September to 12 December 2018 (the “Offer Period”)

      2. Qualifying rentals:

      The Bonus Points Offer and the Discount Offer are only available for a car rental that is a qualifying rental. A qualifying rental means that:

         a. the booking for a car rental is made between 06 September and 30 September 2018 directly with Europcar either via the Europcar/Nectar microsite offer page ( or by calling the dedicated Europcar/Nectar phone number (0871 384 1140) and quoting offer code ‘53952042’; and

         b. the rental car is collected from a Europcar location in the UK during the Offer Period; and

         c. the rental period lasts for between 1 and 20 days; and

         d. the main driver has provided a valid Nectar membership number at the time of booking

      3. Discount Offer:

         a. Discount Offer:

             i.  is subject to vehicle availability

             ii. may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, except this Triple Bonus Points Offer promotion

             iii. is available for all car categories (excluding vans and Selection vehicles)

             iv. is not available when renting from Aberystwyth, Pembroke, Llanelli, Carmarthen, Fishguard Port Meet & Greet, York Train Station, Exeter, Plymouth and Taunton locations or Off Shore Islands (Jersey, Guernsey, Isle Man, Shetland Island and Orkney Islands)

             v. does not apply on the recommended extras

             vi. Nectar members receive extra savings, included in the discount referenced above, compared to those offered to non-members on

             vii. The percentage discount is calculated on the non-reduced daily rate that would have been returned if you had booked a car rental via the homepage of using the same selection criteria (i.e. dates, location, vehicle) on the same day. The rate displayed and made available from this page (i.e., will include the percentage discount

         b. The maximum 30% discount is available for car rentals that are booked in accordance with paragraphs 1 and 2 above and which comply with the following additional conditions:

             i. car rentals will be of between 3 and 20 days duration;

             ii. the rental car will be picked up from a selected Europcar location in the UK during the period 03 September to 12 December 2018.

      Selected Europcar locations include all Europcar locations in Central London and Scotland plus the following airports only: Aberdeen, Birmingham, Bristol, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Inverness, Gatwick, Heathrow, London City, Manchester, Liverpool, Luton and Stansted.

      Lower levels of discount (ie. up to 30%) are available under this Discount Offer at Europcar’s many other locations outside of the selected Europcar locations set out above

      4. This Bonus Points Offer cannot be combined with any other offer, promotion or discount (with the exception of the Discount Offer as set out above) or other third party loyalty programme points/miles being offered concurrently by Europcar

      5. Nectar members will be credited with points to their account in accordance with the following rules which can be modified by Europcar from time to time: 3 points for every £1 spent will be awarded on the total cost of each qualifying rental in the UK during the offer period (as set out in terms 1 and 2 above)

      6. Car rentals booked for rental periods of either a single day or 21+ days or rentals that do not take place within the Offer Period will qualify for 1 point for every £1 spent

      7. Nectar points will not be awarded on a Nectar member’s spend relating to subsequent charges, i.e. damage charges, theft or motoring offences and associated admin fees

      8.Points will be credited to the member’s account within eight weeks of the qualifying rental having completed.

      9. Retroactive collection of both standard and bonus points is only permitted up to 12 months after the qualifying rental has taken place.   

      10. The Nectar member cannot earn points on more than one qualifying rental at the same time; only one qualifying rental can be recorded.

      11. Nectar points cannot be collected in combination with any other third party loyalty programme points/miles offered by Europcar

      12. Standard UK Europcar terms & conditions of hire will apply to the qualifying rental.  A copy of this can be downloaded here

      13. Qualifying rentals are subject to availability and driver qualification

      14. Qualifying rental rates are inclusive of all mandatory and applicable charges. These include Collision Damage and Theft Waivers (which are subject to an Excess amount), and VAT but exclude fuel
