Manchester Airport car hire
Manchester itself is a bustling city with all the theatres, restaurants and museums you’d expect of a modern metropolis. However, car rental allows visitors to broaden their horizons a little and the city is also well placed for trips into Lancashire, Cheshire, the Peak District and beyond.
Seaside resorts such as Southport and Blackpool are a day trip away, as are picturesque towns in the hills, like Buxton and Hebden Bridge. For science freaks, Jodrell Bank and the Lovell radio telescope can be found in the heart of Cheshire, just a few miles from the airport, while Knowsley Safari Park and Chester Zoo are also easily within reach for those who’ve hired a car.
Manchester is a major hub serving a wide area and visitors arriving there may even be heading to areas as far afield as Snowdonia and the Lake District. With one way car hire, it is also possible to fly into Manchester before later dropping your car at another major airport for the flight home.
If you’re flying in for a few days for business, hiring a car will allow you to get out of the city and explore the surrounding areas – and if you’re only over for the day, Europcar also offers hourly rates to keep costs to a minimum.
