The Europcar car rental experience in Turin

There are four Europcar stations in Turin. For visitors arriving by plane, Turin Airport is the most convenient pick up point, while the station in Turin centre is another popular collection point.

For lone travelers, couples and smaller groups, our small hire cars include the Smart ForFour, Fiat Panda or Peugeot 208. Larger models such as the Peugeot 3008 and Mercedes C-Class are great options if you are travelling as a family or bigger group.

If you have larger loads to transport, we have van hire available, with a range of vehicles to cater to your needs.

Europcar means total flexibility, with the option to pick up your car or van rental from one station and drop it off at another. Plus car and van hire is available for both long and short term rental periods to suit you.

In Turin, on-street parking applies from Monday to Saturday from 8am to midnight. Blue road signs and markings indicate paid parking spots. White road markings mean parking time is limited but free. Yellow parking bays are reserved for special vehicles such as police, or disabled drivers. On Sundays and public holidays it is often free to park.

You can buy parking tickets from parking officials, newsagents and tobacconists.

In the historic centre, there is a ZTL (Zona Traffico Limitato) called Area C which is enforced Monday to Friday from 7.30am to 7pm. Only residents or permit holders can enter this zone. Be aware that this area is monitored by cameras and you will be fined if you enter without a permit.

Most main roads across Italy are toll motorways with charges payable by cash or credit/debit card.

Be aware that very few petrol stations in Italy are open on Sundays and the ones that are open on Sundays are often closed on Mondays. Make sure to take cash as not all petrol stations accept debit/credit cards.
