It might already be in your rear view mirror, but it’s unlikely anyone will disagree that 2021 was a year in which any organisation reliant on vehicles faced serious challenges. Europcar Mobility Group UK responded to those challenges, providing employers with peace of mind that staff could stay mobile and goods could be delivered.

Some of the highlights in our year included:

– Confidence of supply: While others struggled, we were able to maintain fleet supply through our strong, long-standing relationships with the key manufacturers.

– Operational efficiency: With more than 85% of our fleet ‘connected’ we knew where our vehicles were when they were ready for collection. And that was another advantage when it came to vehicle supply.

– Filling the gap: Our long-term rental solutions filled the gap for many organisations facing long delays for new vehicles.

– A flexible alternative to leasing: Long-term rental also helped organisations unwilling to commit to new fleet in 2021 in the face of economic uncertainty. With Europcar, business stayed on the move without fear of early termination penalties if fortunes changed.

– Getting zero-ready: The extension of London’s ULEZ and the introduction of more Clean Air Zones in UK cities wasn’t a headache for businesses that tapped into the Europcar fleet of electric, hybrid and petrol cars, both through our long-term solutions and our on-demand car sharing fleet.

– Van specialists where they were needed: Providing a local service for local businesses remained key in 2021. And that meant expansion of our network of dedicated Vans & Trucks supersites.

The last 18 months have put fleet, transport and business travel managers under inordinate pressure. Europcar Mobility Group UK has remained committed and focused throughout and we intend to continue to give our customers the confidence that we are the right partner to meet your mobility needs.
