Tax :

VAT will be charged at the applicable rate.

Airport Surcharge :

Details are available from Europcar Reservation Office.

Age :

Minimum 23 or 25 years, maximum 74 years, according to the car group.

Additional Driver :

With the consent of the renter, the vehicle may be driven by other persons. Conditions and possible charge available from Europcar Reservation Office.

Driving licence :

Held for at least one or three years, according to the car group. If you hold a 2 part UK driving licence, both parts need to be presented at rental.

Cancellation and No Show Policy :

If you have chosen to pay for your hire upon collection of your vehicle and your travel plans change, you may cancel your booking free of charge anytime up until two hours before your hire is due to start.  If you have given us your ID number when making your booking, or have created your ID during the booking process (this will include giving us data such as your drivers licence number and date of birth) then we will guarantee your vehicle until close of business on the day your hire is due to start.  Should you fail to pick up your vehicle on the day your hire is due to start, or do not cancel with more than two hours notice prior to  the time it is due to start, you will be required to pay £35 which will be charged to your credit or debit card to compensate us for having held the vehicle for you without any rental transaction ensuing.

Standard Deposits :

All rentals are subject to a standard deposit in addition to the rental charges. Details are available from the Reservation Office

Credit Cards Accepted :

American Express, Diners Club, Eurocard, Mastercard, Visa.

If the hire period exceed 28 days payment will be deducted automatically from the card.

Otherwise payment will be deducted at check in.

Debit Cards Accepted :

Acceptable cards are Visa Delta Switch, Solo and Maestro (issued in UK). The rental charges plus the standard deposit will be taken at the time of check out.

Refunds will be made to the card when the vehicle is returned subject to the the vehicle condition.

Note Refunds may take up to 28 working days to show in bank accounts.

Cash / Cheques Payments :

Are only possible for certain vehicle catagories at certain locations.

Note: Refunds will be made depending on the condition of the vehicle at check in, and so long as there are sufficent funds on site. If not a cheque will be sent to the renter.

Insurances :

Deductible Collision Damage, C.D.W., Theft Protection and P.A.I. : Charges may vary by station and by car group. Details are available from Europcar Reservation Office.

Delivery / Collection

Available Within & Outside City limits.

One-Way Rentals :

A) Domestic : Available between all Europcar stations in mainland. Also available between UK mainland and Northern Ireland at an extra charge. B) International : Not Available.

Other Services :

Child Seat Infant, Child Seat Baby, Mobile Phone.

Restriction Of Use :

Certain driving restrictions may apply for driving into certain countries. Details are available from Europcar Reservation Office.

Thumb Printing :

Europcar is working with UK's law enforcement bodies to help reduce identity theft, vehicle theft and money laundering by asking customer to leave a thumbprint on the car rental documentation on checkout from the 1st June 2007.

Full Tank of Fuel :

If reservation is for 5 days or more, we will automatically add the cost of the full tank of fuel to the rental when the vehicle is collected. Fuel will therefore be pre-paid at the start of the rental and re-fuelling will not be necessary on return.

Chauffeur Driven Service :
